W/S PN{Mr Northey} C.Hore O.St. c Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Mr. X7960. Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}13/T22.7.32. FN12/PH20.7.32. re. Chassis No.61-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary} - London Trials. The flexible shackle, although standardised, is not yet available and it will be some time at the present rate of production before it is. I find that the Experimental Dept. are not in a position to supply one. You will remember that one of these shackles was taken from an Experimental Car to fit to 60-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary} and recently they have robbed another Experimental Car for Kaye Don.
