Dear Mr. Hall,

I got your telegram this morning and as I had already been to the A.C.F. to find out details, I am immediately posting off the necessary engagement form which you will please sign in two places marked with a cross and you will observe that as your engine is more than 4 litre there will be an entry fee of Fcs.1.000 to enable you to enter the race.

As you will see, the last date of entry for payment of Fcs.1.000 is the 29th instant.

Will you therefore send me the subscription and the engagement form and we will endeavour to fill up the necessary details for you.

There is an article in English which gives the chief details of the regulations in French. It will be necessary to obtain a letter from Messrs. Bentley Motors Ltd. authorizing you to enter your car in this race.

Will you obtain this or do you wish me to write to London for it? I think if you can obtain it without convenience it would help matters.

I confirm my telegram saying that the details and entry form will be sent off, and I am sorry there has been any delay, but there is no time lost.

Hoping that you and Mrs. Hall are having a good time, I remain,

Yours faithfully,

[Signature: C.W. Kent]
for Sr.
