Sft{Mr Swift}/Mr.Ellis. from EFC. X7791. EFCl/ADl 7.1.31. X.7791. WATFORD E.W.6. MAGNETOS. We have received your note of the 15th inst. with reference to magneto No.127221, the reason for our enquiry being that upon testing this magneto recently in our laboratory, owing to complaint received from our testers, we found the low speed sparking to be 110 r.p.m. advance, 165 r.p.m. central and 270 r.p.m. retard which, of course, is outside our specification limits in the retard position and would cause difficulty in starting up from cold on the engine. Would you like to check these figures og your rig before we return this magneto to the makers? EFC/HEW. | ||
