Recommendation to supply a new geared starter motor and trickle charger for Chassis B.136-AH due to starting difficulties.

Replying to your K/KC/DPB.7.12.35., it is quite evident that this customer is expecting too much from his battery but we are sure that an immense improvement would be obtained if he was supplied with one of the new geared starter motor, we have found that with the battery in a half discharged condition in very cold conditions starting is extremely difficult with the old motor. We recommend therefore that consideration be given to the supply of a geared motor to this customer and also recommendation be made that some method of external charging be adopted during the night.
