Mr. Longley,
Messrs. Ferodo Limited,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Dear Mr. Longley,

I wonder whether you could pay us a call about Thursday of next week, when we shall be able to show you the /u characteristics of all the linings you have sent us. None are entirely satisfactory. We did, however, think that VM.30 was going to be a success until we tried a second lining and then got most disappointing results.

If you have time to come over here, we shall be able to discuss it with you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
