To H.S. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} 600 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}8/P.25.10.37. Re. 27.G.V1. Whilst you have the above car in the Fitting Shop will you please dismantle the engine front and check the poundage of the slipper wheel. It is important that whatever the poundage may be, it must not be altered. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} should be informed when the slipper wheel is ready for checking. Also reduce thickness of pinion bearing adjustment washer by .003 to see if slack produces an over-run rattle. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} | ||
