16th Sept 1912.

Mr Johnson & T.C. from Mr Barrington.

Please note Mr Royce is anxious for the
axle bumping tests to be carried out as soon as possible
on the worm axle at present in the Experimental Shop.
This test is for the purpose of discovering whether it
is necessary to fit diagonal ties to this form of axle,
as we are satisfied that they are not necessary in the
case of our standard bevel axle.
