With regard to the damper trouble, we suggest that you lock these nuts on every car which comes into your hands until we can put the matter right.

With regard to steering, I am afraid there is not much you can do on the Demonstrator, but we have designed the snatch out of the front suspension and this means extensive modifications to the job. Unfortunately this will not go onto production until after Christmas of this year.

Under extreme conditions of heat which have prevailed on the Continent this year some of our customers have suffered from the trouble by fitting a high pressure pump in the frame.

We have managed to put one on Mr. Baker's car just as he was about to leave for America. If you examine this chassis you will see what has been done. We hope to be able to send you two or three sets of parts so that you can deal with complaints.

I am glad to hear the clutch is satisfactory. We have standardised one similar to the plate on your Demonstrator.

Yours sincerely,
