Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.1/AP.

Messrs John Marston Ltd.,
WOLVERHAMPTON.

For the attention of Mr.Dunn.

Dear Sirs,

We enclose herewith a print of drawing EB.3416 which has been modified to clarify the marking out dimensions etc.

Will you, therefore, please destroy your old print and use the new one for the purpose of correcting the Bentley dummy shutter set left with you, returning this to us as soon as complete.

We have recently received an invoice from you for one Bentley dummy shutter set - in order to clear up our records would you please be good enough to let us have a statement of how many dummy shutter sets you have made up and supplied to us and on what dates.

Relying on memory, the writer is under the impression that you have completed five shutter sets in all -

1) The first sample set submitted by you.

2) The second sample set with modified angle which were insufficiently stiff etc.

3) The third set which was the first of the finally agreed on schemes - with stiffeners, correct angles etc. - fitted to our radiator by yourselves.

4) The set similar to (3) fitted on the sample radiator built and submitted by yourselves.

5) The second of the production sets to EB.3416 ordered under our letter of Aug. 18th. and not yet completed.
