Please receive herewith a sketch of the adapter for the wireless drive shaft. This adapter is intended to convert the standard wireless drive shaft E.9266, as used on all Eagle engines up to 900, into a shaft suitable for use with the loose spring drive, which comes in on engine 901. Two adapters are shewn marked A.{Mr Adams} and B., will you please produce half a dozen of each for submission to the Air Board. The sketch attached should suffice until complete drawings are prepared. It should be noted that it is proposed to cut off the existing shaft E.9266 by a point 2.000" + 50 from the serrated end.
