CONTINENTAL TYPE PHANTOM.
--------------------------

With reference to the 12 sets of parts which we are instructing up in the Works, will you please instruct the pistons to be of the present standard pattern with the flat top and diagonal ribs, and the radiator tubes to be the 7 mm. type reduced to 6 mm. on the small diameter. The cylinder head castings E.76989 to Sch. 1005, which gives a compression ratio of 4.78 to 1 should be instructed.

Mr. Daeth should instruct the new levers to give increased braking on the front.

These 12 cars should be up to date as far as possible and we should instruct any other features which have been recently standardised, which may not yet be on present production on account of using up existing stocks. For instance we should instruct scrubbing contacts on the battery ignition, and Watford magneto to without sleeve.
