600A 36 GVI - Out of fitting shop. 14-10-37. 1) Wraith III Engine, crankcase, block + head bolted separately 2) Expt raised engine mounting 3) Same engine periods as 57 GVI. 4) Very noisy tappet gear. 5) Stronger front suspension springs. 6) Brakes poor - require investigation 7) Engine poor starting cold - will not start in cold chamber. 8) Damper control unit requires examination. 9) Steering passable. 10) Clutch . 11) Gear Box - jumps out of top gear. 12) Timing gears terrible. We are using this car for raised engine mounting experiments. This is a bigger problem on Wraith than we thought it would be from our experience on the Bentley, also the rear mounting has to be moved in any case to cure engine periods at high speeds.
