accuracy in the widths of the outer races nor in the
relative positions of the inner races. There will be
gaps between the outer races,and therefore no need for
oil grooves. It would not appear to be necessary to
have a one piece construction for the bearing, but perhaps
this would not save any cost unless we could use a
standard roller bearing. To do this appears to require
a bore of 1.3/8" in which case we could use R.L.S. 12½
1.3/8" x 3" x 11/16". However, you may consider that
the thrust bearings will not stand a further increase of
bore to 1.375".
