Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} V3436 To Mr. Eur. from BJ. c. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. c. to Mr. c. c. to Sh. c. c. to Sr. BJ/Py8/̶E̶E̶/D21.11.24. I am not sure whether you are holding up delivery of 40/50 Chassis with Open Bodies until you hear that the method of silencing the exhaust is satisfactory. F.H. and I have now had a good test and we are satisfied that it is sufficiently good. Presumably this method of silencing will be adopted in future on chassis both with closed and open bodies. There would, therefore, appear to be no necessity for holding up any further chassis. Certainly chassis with closed bodies should in no case be held up on this account. BJ/Py. | ||
