Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG5.2.25. We have the following experiments in hand on the EAC. engine on the Test Bed. (1) New Throttle Governor Cam with special levers - instructed. (2) Test of the oil relay with a fine filter and dirt introducing chamber - both instructed. (3) Tappet knocks. At the present moment we have one noisy tappet on No.6 exhaust and are awaiting the fitting of the key stud which you suggest might overcome this trouble. (4) Tests on the EAC. Clutch. We require to have this clutch fitted up so that we can operate it and should be obliged if you could fit it up as previously instructed.
