R.{Sir Henry Royce} Summers Esq., John Summers & Sons Ltd., Shotton, Nr. Chester. Dear Dick, Thank you for your letter of Nov. 4th. I am afraid there is no chance at all of getting your chassis before January. Our demonstration cars are running day and night and are trying to be in three or four places at once, so there is no prospect of getting hold of one of these. I have done all I can to ensure that you will get one of the earliest production chassis, but when you get the chassis number allocated to you, I should be interested to know what it is. I have asked our people to make sure that your cousin gets a trial run on the proper motor car. Kind regards to the family, Yours sincerely, | ||
