Attention of Mr. Brookes. Dear Sirs, The writer, in company with Mr. Birch attempted to come down to see you the other day, but had to turn back due to fog. Mr. Birch will have passed to you the experimental drawing of the dia cast piston. We send you herewith our drawing RE.1824 showing a piston for 3.750 bore engine, and rings RE.2053/4/5 to suit. We would be glad if you would produce 14 pistons fitted with rings and gudgeon pins. Our official order will follow. Yours faithfully, for Rolls-Royce Limited. | ||
