X4565 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RmL/T. 30th September, 1926. Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Development Dept. For the attention:- Mr. A.{Mr Adams} Healey. Dear Sirs, During the recent hot weather in France we have been obtaining a relatively poor life from 6.75" tyres which we have been running. We quite realise that atmospheric temperature has a very considerable bearing on tyre life, as proved by some of our recent tests on high pressure tyres. We should like to know, however, whether you have any figures which shew the relative life which we may generally expect from the 6.75" tyre as compared with 33 x 5 straight sided. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
