-2- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}34/KW.13.12.35. During these tests the gearbox was set horizontally, but on the road this condition will not be maintained, therefore it is expected that the rate of feed will be reduced under road conditions - the normal inclination of the gearbox to the chassis is not expected to materially affect the results. Attached is a complete set of charts of these tests, together with a graph illustrating the temperature speed characteristics previously mentioned. Concluding, these tests show the Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}9/KW.31.10.35 modification to give the best results. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/W.Bell. | ||
