X7250 To Ry. from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}5/N27.3.30. RE : RADIATOR SUSPENSION. X.7250. Here is N. scheme 3061, shewing the adaption of the single point radiator suspension to the 3" dia. cross member at the radiator, as it is considered we shall still want the additional stiffness. In order to facilitate the experiment, two things are proposed, firstly, the use of practically the same radiator piece as on N. scheme 3059, secondly, a slight re-arrangement of the 3" crossmember to enable it to have a simple bend in one plane. This is shewn on N. scheme 3062 to foblow, and is based on the method of taking down the slipper flywheels indicated on N. scheme 3061 in chalk. If there is any objection to this, we should like to know. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
