RE. PROGRESS OF EXPERIMENTAL WORK.

CJ. has questioned on the report showing the progress of experimental work for fortnight ending 2nd. April, that certain work was done on Buzzard rear axle. The reason for the Buzzard rear axle parts being machined was because there was no other suitable work at that time, for the experimental machines. We treat the Buzzard work as the last on the list as regards urgency. We have thought it advisable to keep this job alive and to keep track of it. We assumed this might be specially desirable as regards the axle because that unit might be used on the "Vulture" or any other new type of large car.

Does Mr. Royce wish that any experimental work at all should be done on the parts instructed for Buzzard and Vulture?
