Dear Sirs,

Your Reference:- Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/AW.34/IB.

We are in receipt of your letter of the 4th instant and are extremely sorry that we have been unable to keep our delivery promise. This was due to the fact that the whole of the Clutch Plates had to be scrapped owing to the holes being wrongly drilled.

However, you may rest assured that everything is being done to deliver these with the least possible delay.

Yours faithfully,

VANDERVELL PRODUCTS LIMITED.
