MERLIN F/1 ENGINE - CONTINUED.

Retaining plate for roller race - engaging mechanism. Completed 14.10.36.
Modified induction manifold set screw. " 13.10.36.
Mod. to altitude and enrichment mechanism - S.U.carburetter. " 14.10.36.
Mod. to float needle mechanism - S.U.carburetter. " 14.10.36.
Mod. to accelerator pump levers and spindle. " 14.10.36.
Mod. to spring drive bush. " 28.10.36.
Oil feed to upper bearing - distributor drive. " 20.10.36.
Terminal extension, bayonet fitting, inlet side sparking plug. Completed.
Locking of screw and nut, slow running adjustment. Completed 24.10.36.
Chromium plated cylinder liners. Completed 21.10.36.
Mods. to generator bracket & crankcase - clearance in "Battle" aircraft. completed 29.10.36.
Countersunk screw for ignition dynamo drive cover. Completed 28.10.36.
Modified pipe - supercharger to pump. Completed 29.10.36.

MERLIN "O" ENGINE.

Hele Shaw airscrew - layout of oil pipes. In hand.
Mod. to rocker cover and cylinder head, to clear cowling rail. Completed.
Modified water rails and inlet conduits. Completed 2.10.36.
