We acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 17th instant Ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA, in the absence of Mr.Nichols for whose attention it is addressed and we hasten to inform you that our Works Manager, Mr. Haviland, is arranging to send along an Engineer to your works tomorrow (Thursday) morning for the purpose of investigating on the spot the Tank Units and Petrol Meter claimed to be faulty.
