Contd. -2- Buick Car. Back Lash in transmission. 1.9" on circumference of road level. Note. The Ignition Switch also simultaneously switches on Starter Motor which revolves slowly. This has its advantages inasmuch as it acts as a warning if Ignition switch is left "on" when stopping engine, and facilitates gear engaging but its disadvantage lies in the fact that the Motor overruns the engine at low speeds, the ratchet being distinctly heard.
