I am afraid that what I said on Friday July 22nd. was misunderstood judging by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}34/D.25.7.38. What I actually understood to be the case was the first drwg. as submitted to P.W. & Co. did not snow the set-back luggage boot, but this was noticed by Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} who drew Park Wards attention to the fact that we preferred to have a set back boot in order to get a high light at the finish of the body line proper, but when the body was produced they had overlooked Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}'s remark and produced the body to our original drawing. The drawing which I showed you was a later one, and in this we included the set-back boot and included a light line with the object of preventing any more bodies being produced like the first.
