Thank you for the information regarding the broken
front axle. I did not mean that the axle might have met with
an accident that you were aware of, but I should have said that
the breakage might have been fortuitous. This seems to be
confirmed by the fact that the next 2 axles broke in another
place. Our trouble is that we cannot make the section where
the first axle broke to be the weakest from any of the forces
that we know of.
