Top Over-oiling on Phantom III. With reference to your memo. A.2/HP.3.10.36. and the suggestion of running a test with the oil supply to the valve stems, and the valve wedges closed up. This trial was made in our previous tests and proved quite successful, provided that the wedges are made a perfect seal. The oil drained off the top washer and down the spring coils.
