To PN.{Mr Northey} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 8788 x7960. Re. Tests on Brooklands Track. As arranged, we shall meet you at Brooklands 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday. We shall bring with us 27-EX. car which will have the new gearbox, twin carburetters, higher compression. We also propose to bring back at the same time your 25 HP. Trials Car OUS-2. We expect you to have on the track 26-EX. and the eight litre Bentley. We are very keen to have the Bentley there because, if we are perfectly frank, we do not believe their speeds. We are proposing that Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} run up to Brooklands from W.W. If Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} does not come to Brooklands we should like an opportunity of seeing him at Conduit St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} after the test to discuss the results. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
