W.A. Rowbotham, Esq.,
Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Rowbotham,

The January issues of "THE MOTOR" contained road tests dealing with a number of interesting new cars in widely differing horse power categories, as can be seen from the following table.

January 3 Humber Snipe
January 10 Wolseley 18-85 Saloon
8 h.p. Renault
January 17 8 h.p. Singer Bantam
January 24 8 h.p. Standard Drophead Coupe
25 h.p. Armstrong Siddeley Limousine
January 31 4-litre Darracq
14 h.p. Vauxhall

The Technical Review for the month has featured Servo Transmissions, giving particulars of the Bendix, Cotal and Warner Overdrive types.

New cars described included the 2½-litre Daimler with special equipment, a new 30 h.p. Ford V8 and 2-litre sports Hansa. Additionally there has been a summary of existing cars in various price fields, the January 24 issue reviewing models costing up to £150 and January 31 up to £175. The latter issue also contained an article on the economic possibilities of the ultra small car.
