Your Order 55296 dated January 14,1938
Re: Fan Belts

Gentlemen:

1. Thank you very much for your order #55296 dated January 14th, for 3 Fan Belts to drawing EB-221 and 2 Fan Belts to drawing EXS-194.

2. We have handed the above order to Goodyear-Wolverhampton, England, who will be glad to contact you and see what can be worked out in this respect.

3. As you know, sometime ago we were approached by the Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors Corporation, on your behalf, concerning the possibility of our supplying you with Fan Belts to the above mentioned drawing sizes. Inasmuch as we didnot have any belts in our standard Fan Belt sizes, which would be close enough to fit satisfactorily on the Rolls-Royce car, we passed along your inquiry to Goodyear-England.

4. We expect to be in production there shortly on Fan Belts so no doubt they will be able to work out something with you as a possible source of supply for your Fan Belts.

5. If we can be of any further service to you in this connection, kindly feel free to write us.

6. Thanking you again for your interest in this connection, we are

Yours very truly
