In accordance with the request contained in your letter of the 29th inst., we have pleasure in sending you particulars of 12-volt Aeroplane batteries. You will see from the enclosed blue print GD.58892 that the batteries comprise six separate cells in celluloid boxes, assembled in wooden container with hinged lid{A. J. Lidsey}, inspection flap also suitable carrying handles, the tops of the cells being protected by means of moulded covers so that no celluloid is exposed. The nett prices for the various batteries delivered free to your works are as follows - 6-LZP 3-1 £3.15. 0. 6-LZP 4-1 £4. 2. 6. 6-LZP 5-1 £4.10. 0. 6-LZP 8-1 £5. 8. 6. 6-LZP 12-1 £6.11. 0. We would add that although the batteries we are offering do not conform exactly with Air Ministry patterns, we do not think there would be any difficulty in obtaining Air Ministry approval of the batteries offered should such a course be necessary.
