Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} NRC{N. R. Chandler} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4117. BY/4/G.5.8.29. 1800 . 45 CHASSIS 3-LC. MRS. HOYER. -------------------------- We think the fractures of frame tie brackets F.7012/3 are due to the production of a sharp corner, undercut as well, due to producing a spot faced surface for the head of the bolt or the nut for same. I am therefore arranging to produce the surface at this point for the bolt/head or the nut by milling right across the piece. In addition I am introducing a .100" plus 25 radius between the flange of the bracket and the boss. This I think will clear up the trouble. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
