5. The top part of the connecting tube fouls the end of the rear springs under conditions similar as explained in the above point.

6. The fixing of the ball piece F.7750, according to the drawing, is by a nut through which a taper pin is fixed. The fixing of this pin is an impracticable job when fixing the shock absorbers on a completed car.
Will you please confirm instructions that it is in order for this nut to be locked and rivetted over the threaded portion of the ball end.
Apart from fixing the pin, we also feel there will be the difficulty of making sure that the taper is quite tight and can be further tightened up in case it works loose.

7. Owing to the variation in the position of the hole for the rear petrol tank stay, will you please instruct, as you have suggested, that with each set of shock absorbers supplied for outside use, a special undrilled stay longer stay will be supplied so that the stay can be drilled to suit the existing hole.

8. We shall also require special stays for cars fitted with 20 gall: petrol tanks. This point I find is covered by your By/HEB{H. Biraben}1/GW27520.

Several alterations have been made to the drawing of these shock absorbers F.7754.

We should be glad if you will supply us with one dozen prints of this drawing.
