PH.II. 20/25HP & Bentley.
Easy adjustment of Brakes.

This feature which has been on Bentley from the beginning is now on production for Phantom II and 20/25HP.

To cover the various requirements of the three chassis and to ensure the correct clearances, no less than three types of wing nut cams and their corresponding pieces are required.

The wing nut cams are all made from the same stamping and carry the stamp number of G80941F.

Except for slight variations in cam lift they are identical and can be fitted indiscriminately to front or rear of any of the three chassis.

The variation in cam lift is not very obvious and can only be determined by measurement. They are .165. .200 and .240 and are intended to be fitted as follows:-

.165. Phantom II - rear only.
.200 Phantom II - front)
.200 20/25HP. - front)
.240 20/25HP. - front)
.240 Bentley - front & rear. )

It will be seen that a lot of confusion can arise - in fact we have had considerable trouble with chassis on test due to the parts being incorrectly assembled.

The men at present working on the job now appreciate the position.
