re B.40 Engine No.1.

The following electrical units will be required for the first B.40 engines :-

Dynamo.
Lucas C.45.PV. No.3. (Lab) mounting and pulley to HL.116 required.

Starter Motor
Lucas M.45.G..

Distributor.
Delco Remy Model 633HE serial No.87968.
This unit will require the existing drive dog removing and a standard B.60 spring drive (on MB.1867) fitting. A new housing to RR.316 is provided in the crankcase L.O.P.

H.T. Wiring.
No scheme for this is at the moment ready. However this willprovide no "hold up".
When this engine is ready for the test bed we will supply a suitable regulator and Lucas 'B' coil for running purposes.
