Investigating the cause of clutch thrust failure on a semi-centrifugal clutch.

We find that with the semi-centrifugal clutch the pedal comes up 1 1/2 ins. at high speeds. This means that after a small amount of wear the pedal will ride and may be the cause of race failure.
