1132. BY/NS.{Norman Scott} c. EY. c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} EXHAUST MANIFOLD - WRAITH III and BENTLEY V.{VIENNA} It is understood that there are a sufficient number of castings of the 3-bolt manifold in the Works to complete the Wraith series now going through, and 50 Bentleys in addition. These should have the flat face recently instructed experimentally deleting the spherical washers with annealed corrujoints packed with graphite, and short bolts. The experimental 4-bolt manifold, E.CD.1318 should be instructed for Bentley V.{VIENNA} following the first 50, but with short bolts instead of the long bolts and distance pieces shewn on that drawing, the corrujoint following the practice of the three-bolt flange as above.
