To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. W x.1027 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW8/LG6.1.21. RE. "LUCAS GIRDER SPANNERS" Referring to your E4/G2.11.20 we have today received from Messrs. Lucas 2 oxidised Girder Spanners. Messrs. Lucas inform us they cannot supply these spanners nickel plated from stock and to make them would take a considerable time and a higher price would be charged. We have, therefore sent one oxidised spanner for Mr. Royce also but if he decides to have a nickel plated spanner we could, of course, order one specially for him. We have instructed our Stores to despatch these spanners today - please confirm the receipt of same. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. 14081 | ||
