We have decided to build a new chassis for the larger body that is arriving shortly. Herewith specification we should like for this chassis :- ENGINE. (1) Crankshaft - standard. (2) Dural rods to EX.12396. (3) Aerolite pistons in 8% Cu alloy as in 4-B-IV. (4) Timing gears std. with balancing cam. (5) Magnesium castings for top and bottom halves timing case and rocker cover. (6) Spring drive standard. (7) Lightened flywheel to EX.12846. (8) Starter motor to R.R.Sch.508. (9) Double contact breaker LEC.3323. (10) Sump drain plug at side of crankcase, LEC.3735. (11) Engine mounting LEC.3845. (12) Cylinder head LEC.3662. (13) Helical gear oil pump in lighter casing, LEC.3746. (14) Mods. to enable fan belt to be removed, LEC.3784.
