Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of November 18th and note that there is only a small batch of the cams and shafts sent you which are likely to go through the test you are giving them.

It seems to me that we are likely to hold you up in deliveries, as it is impossible to get these cams made in such short notice and I agree, therefore, with your suggestion in experimenting with a few of these cams yourselves. Perhaps, if they are cyanide hardened and afterwards polished, this may do the trick. However, if you can assist us with this, it would avoid causing any undue delay.
