Please receive herewith the following scheme:- F.CD.672 Mounting for Rear Bumper. The above scheme shews a channel section strut to carry the rear bumpers. It is made to suit the greatest overhang body we are likely to get. The bumper carrying strip will require modifying to take the double bolts shewn. We should like to have this fixing put up on an existing Wraith car, regardless of the body overhang to see if there is any undue flexibility anywhere, before committing ourselves to it. Should there be anything of the kind, we could provide some connection to the body, by rubber possibly, which would relieve the load on the long arms without excessive load on the body.
