Dear Major Carington,

I went out yesterday on the Duke of Kent's Bentley and was appalled at the noisiness of the Philco radio set he has installed. I think Philco's have made a bad job of the installation and I would suggest that you get Guinness to recommend the Duke to changeover to a British made set which is now getting very popular and which we consider is a good job namely the Ekco. The existing Philco installation is not a very good advertisement for the car.

Yours faithfully,
