To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re My Car - GLG-5. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E159.36

This is to remind you of what I said when at Derby about a new engine, the point being that the present engine is scrap from the point of view of the car's ultimate sale owing to its being non-standard.

I thought that there might be something which I could usefully be testing. I should like to know what you have in mind to do about it.

I think the engine in my car must be rather down in power because I was out on a standard 25/30 this week-end with a similar body to mine and noted that the performance of this car was very much better than mine.
