EH. X601 Chassis EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}16/F12.12.19. RE. FAULTY LODGE C.9 SPARKING PLUGS. I am sending youa plug taken off a chassis which has run about 150 miles, and on which one of the electrodes has broken off. This broke off in adjusting the points, and I specially bring this to your attention as the tendency appears to be for the points to break off rather easily, the metal being very brittle, which I fear may cause trouble on cars in service.
