re 24.O.6.

We propose handing the above car to the Repair Dept. on Tuesday the 28th. together with the new cylinder liners and pistons which are to be fitted.

Both front and rear engine mountings on this car are obsolete and the engine has been running without a fan.

As a fan is a necessity on a transport car it will be necessary to modify the front engine mounting to enable this to be fitted, parts will be required from production.

With regard to the rear mounting, this has some wooden blocks between the frame and cross member, these should be changed to alum or steel, there is no reason then why this arrangement of rear mounting could not stay on the car.

To modify the rear mounting otherwise means a new gearbox, cross members and mountings.
