I have today despatched to you a silencer made to suit the engine about which you sent me information and I hope that it will be possible for you to attach it without delay to one of your standard motor cars or to any engine on your test bench. I have a Swedish engineer here who has followed the developments of the silencer in Sweden and I shall be glad to arrange for him to visit Derby in order to give you any information you may require and to generally assist you in the tests.
