Phantom III Petrol Pumps in the Frame LeC.5191.

In anticipation of the vapour trouble to which the Phantom III is subject in hot weather an order has been placed with the S.U. Co. for 200 high pressure pumps for mounting in the frame to LeC.5191.

We understand that this scheme is detailed with the exception of the pipe from the pump to the flexible petrol pipe. Will you please see that these details are available. A simple arrangement for this is fitted on 39-EX a standard 3/8" pipe connection being mounted on the dash to carry the flexible pipe.

The magnet pots for these pumps are to be machined in the works. The S.U. Co. have promised delivery commencing with 6 to 12 pumps per week 4 weeks after receipt of the order. Will you please see that the brackets carrying the pump rubber mounting etc. will be available. This scheme has already been to Nairobi and back and is fitted on the next 10,000 miles car.
