Y6153 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA. 12th April, 1935. Messrs.Philips Lamps, Ltd., Philips House, 145, Charing Cross Road, London, W.C.2. Dear Sirs, We cannot understand on technical grounds why it is necessary for a battery filter unit supplied with your car radio sets to be connected close to the battery. The fitting of this filter close to the battery is not agreed too by ourselves as we insist on all accessories being connected to our accessory fuse on the distribution board mounted on the dash board. Will you please say whether in the case of R.R. & Bentley cars you would be agreeable to modifying your instructions regarding the fitting of this battery filter unit to suit our requirements. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
