Re Gearbox.

This box was filled with Hi-Press light before leaving England. We will send you some of this to Chateauroux. If you are now using engine oil, don't do any work at full throttle on 1st or reverse or the teeth will pick up.

We cannot reproduce the oil losses here. Can you therefore measure the pressure in the box and the maximum temperature reached.

The small air hole in the change speed tube is the only breather and it only works provided the rod has been drilled as per sketch. Perhaps you would try fitting an additional breather to cure the trouble.
